Aloe There, Mr. Hedgehog

Last week I burned my finger on the hot stove. A lesson you’re supposed to learn before you can even talk. This aloe vera plant saved the day for me, at the cost of one of her arms. So this painting is a tribute to her service.

The hedgehog salt shaker is her best friend. He never worked well as a shaker but he was too cute to toss so he lives on the window sill.
