I’ve been to Scotland twice. I’ve toured three Scotch distilleries, eaten haggis and blood pudding, helped a herder shear his sheep, climbed the Royal Mile and Arthur’s Peak, ferried to Skye and Mull and Iona, been to all the lochs and Glen Coe and Culloden, toured castles and sat in the song circle at Hootenanny’s in Inverness. 
But one thing I’ve never done is pet a Highland Cow on the furry head. I need to go back and do that.
