My 23 And Me tells me that my people are from London. Which checks out, because I've always been and Anglophile. (Is that capitalized?) Somewhere in my gene codes are memories of rainy days staring at the Thames. Probably dreaming of escaping to the states. We're never happy where we are. 
 
This current day version of me has been to London twice. It wasn't raining either time. I was slightly disappointed, they way you'd be if you visited Chicago and it wasn't windy.
